This was dads boat he loved it, so did we. His friends had fibreglass boats with bigger engines ours was wooden with a 25 horsepower gale engine on calm seas it was fast on rough it wasn't. On a trip down to Devon a wheel fell off the trailer and split the hull, Dad repaired it with fiberglass it was never the same afterward but it didn't stop him taking it out . I kept telling him that it was full of water but he said it had come off our feet! He took mum, me, Deb and Mark to the Regatta at Benllech after this and we nearly sank he always agrued it was ok but when we eventually got it out water came through the joints "my told you so was greeted in the usual manner ;-) the last time I can remember going out was a day trip with Uncle John we got to Anglesey and were greeted by a 6ft wave, not wanting to disappoint out we went I don't know why I got in but I did fortunately he managed to ride out for 100 yards turn it round and come back in on the top of a wave ! Well done Dad.
